Dr. Tim Lister and Dr. Rachel Street, project scientists at the UC Santa Barbara-affiliated Las Cumbres Observatory Global Telescope Network, joined Tim and Levi this morning to talk about their exciting discovery of nine gaseous planets. This discovery, along with a recent study of other planets outside our solar system, rocked the established primary theory of how planets are formed.
